Important: Inverness NOAA Weather Radio Frequency To Change August 10th

Inverness NOAA Weather Radio Transmitter Changing Frequencies on August 10th

NOAA Weather Radio station KIH-50 broadcasting from Inverness, Mississippi at a frequency of 162.55 MHz will be changing to broadcast from 162.425 MHz on August 10, 2011.

This change will be made to enhance the radio coverage pattern across the Mississippi Delta and portions of extreme Southeast Arkansas and extreme Northeast Louisiana.

This image depicts the approximate coverage area of the Inverness NOAA Weather Radio transmitter.  The graphic has yet to be updated with the new frequency.  Use this map as a guideline in determining if the frequency change affects your area.
