THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EXTREME SOUTHEAST
ARKANSAS...PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST LOUISIANA AND NORTHWEST PORTION OF
CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI.
.DAY ONE...TONIGHT AND TUESDAY
WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT EXPECTED.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY
A RISK FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS...INCLUDING DAMAGING WIND GUSTS OF 60
MPH AND LARGE HAIL AND PERHAPS A TORNADO...COULD DEVELOP LATE TUESDAY
NIGHT INTO EARLY WEDNESDAY AS A COLD FRONT SLOWLY APPROACHES FROM THE
NORTHWEST. THUNDERSTORMS THAT DEVELOP OVER CENTRAL AND EASTERN
ARKANSAS TUESDAY EVENING MAY EVENTUALLY MOVE INTO NORTHERN PORTIONS
OF THE ARKLAMISS PRIOR TO DAYBREAK WEDNESDAY. STRONG WIND SHEAR WOULD
BE SUPPORTIVE OF SEVERE WEATHER IF STORMS CAN MOVE INTO THE OUTLOOK
AREA.
DAYTIME HEATING WILL DESTABILIZE THE AIR MASS AHEAD OF THE COLD FRONT
WEDNESDAY AND THIS WILL ALLOW FOR A CONTINUED RISK OF STRONG TO
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS UNTIL THE EARLY AFTERNOON. THE RISK FOR SEVERE
WEATHER WOULD DIMINISH AS THE COLD FRONT PUSHES THROUGH BY EARLY
AFTERNOON.
ANOTHER ROUND OF STRONG TO SEVERE STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ON FRIDAY
AS ANOTHER COLD FRONT APPROACHES. PLEASE STAY TUNED FOR THE LATEST
